Timothy Michael Cooper is an award-winning filmmaker, comedy writer, and script consultant based in Brooklyn.

He wrote and directed CONCIERGE: THE SERIES, starring Kate McKinnon, which was nominated for a Writers Guild Award. His short comedy LEMON premiered at Tribeca and was purchased by both United Airlines and Amazon. His sci-fi comedy KNEAD has played at and won awards at over 35 festivals worldwide, including Croatia, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and Greece. He also wrote the dramatic feature AWAY FROM HERE, starring Nick Stahl and Alicia Witt.

As a member of the writers’ room for the Writers Guild Awards for 10 seasons, he’s written jokes and sketches for Jimmy Fallon, Roy Wood Jr., Bowen Yang, Michelle Buteau, Amy Schumer, Zach Cherry, Amber Ruffin, and many more.

Through his company, Blueprint Screenwriting Group, he’s coached hundreds of screenwriters to go on to win Emmys, Golden Globes, and Writers Guild Awards; sell their scripts to major studios; staff in multiple writers’ rooms; win at SXSW, Sundance, Tribeca, and Cannes; and have their projects made across the globe.
